How Much Would I Pay For Council Tax In Scotland?

Me and my girlfriend would be effective to Dundee next month and would need to rent a flat.

How much would i really be looking at for Consistory Tax? I would be the only one working as she is a full time student and i would be working just over 16 hours a week (All i can be offered legitimate now).

Is there anyway we can get the council tax cut?

Answer: Correspond the Dundee council web site for 'Council Tax Benefit' etc. and then ring them up ..

How Many People In Scotland Pay Income Tax?

I recently be familiar with a statement on Y/A! and I have been unable to find out whether or not this statement is accurate.

It was stated that the population of Scotland is 5 million, but out of this 5 million, only 164,000 are in occupation and actually paying income tax.

Can anyone confirm or deny this statement, and/or give me the correct human being please?

Answer: according to the net income its over 2m, although there seems to be no specific figure for what you are asking ie people in employment playing tax. but I'd guess the suss out is around 2.5 to 2.7m

I have a family in Scotland & am paying the full council tax but I live & work in Holland I visit home 4 days per month at contemporary my wife lives at home in Scotland Should I get a reduction in my council tax payments

i have a 4 week old me and my partaker both work. what can you earn in scotland and still get some sort of child tax credit, and how much would we get depending on income. over recall both our income will be around 35,000 a year?
