What Is The Percent Charged For Sales Tax On A New Car In Sarasota County, Florida?

Answer: In Florida the federal sales tax is 6% and in Sarasota county your county discretionary sales surtax is 1%. Your county discretionary sales surtax is only charged on the first $5000 of a leverage so if your car cost $20,000 you would be 6% on the entire $20,000 (or $1200) PLUS 1% on the first $5000 (or $50).

You can monitor the Florida Department of Revenue website for the DR-15DSS which is published every year to let you know what this discretionary surcharge is in each Florida

Isn't This Outrage About Obama Speaking To Schoolchildren A Complete Double-standard?

I call to mind beign a little girl in my public school and listening to Reagan talk about the virtures of self-governance and low taxes. I muse on the footage of GWB reading to school children in a Sarasota public school. Why so much anger now about the likelihood of having Obama address schoolchildren abotu the importance of education and staying in faction, which is a politically neutral subject that most people can agree on?

Answer: It's ludicrous how those who would force the children to have to stand and swear allegiance to a piece of cloth each day, and would conflict with and scream if anyone tried to remove the words "under God," which were not in the original Collateral, complain that having the children listen to a speech by our duly elected Commander-in-Chief is somehow "indoctrination."

More swagger and nonsense, with heavy paranoid and racial overtones.

Ummm, cbeaux,

I used to flaming in Venice FL about 6 years ago and moved back north to be with her...4 years later I convinced her its interval

Answer: I'm from Tampa at; I would say Tampa is a great place to live, if you're close to Ybor city and only a half hour plunge to Clearwater and St. Pete, about an hour from Sarasota. But if I was to move back, I'd go to Clearwater, I believe that for the area Clearwater is the outwit beach, but it can be expensive, so Tampa is a good alternative. I also lived in Sarasota for a short chance, I found it very dirty and really poor economy...although all these areas are pretty poor. But if you covet a beach,

Question About Capital Gains...is There A Shelter?

My missus and I plan on selling our home this time next year. we stand to make a fastidious little sum of money off the sale. Once we sell our home, we are moving to Sarasota, Florida and will have to split an appartment until we establish employment and can look for a home.
The problem is that appartments split for a year contract, but if you don't reinvest your Capital Gains in another home in a year, they tax the heck out of you.
Is there such a attitude as a Capital Gains temporary

Answer: To accept the blame for your question directly,, No,, there isn't. But,,
if you have lived in your home for two of the previous 5 years on the day you sell,, you and your old lady can exclude $500,000. of the gain on the home. anything above that will be taxed as capital gain. After that,, you can do what you scarcity with your money. All those old laws about having to put money back into a house within two years is old news,, no longer in conclusion.
