Los Angeles County Unsecured Property Tax Bill Form 571-L? |
hi, i have theme about the unsecured property tax bill for business fixtures and equipment. I called the office and they said the assessment value is based on the form 571-L. My suspect is, who has to file the form and if we don't how do they assess the value of the property?
what if you never got the 571 by mail. How do you know if you need to fill in for 571 if you haven't got it? The reason i am asking is because i never received the form 571 and billed for establishment property tax. Then

The number that they come up with is customarily much higher than reallity. The law states that you must file the return every year.
