Buying A Condo Unit In A Harlem Brownstone, How Much Will Property Tax Be?
Question by Chris | Posted in Renting & Real Estate
Hi,
My strife and I are looking at a condo unit in a 4 story brownstone building in Harlem. It is a pretty place and has 5 years to run on a property tax abatement. Now, I know the sellers are probably looking to shift it asap as it gets closer to the abatement ending, but how can I get an intimation of how much the property taxes will be when the abatement expires?
Not sure what this means, but the tax class is 1C.
Property Tax Break If You Have Easement Or Wetlands Or Pond Making Up The Majority Of Your Property?
Question by Land Value Question | Posted in United States
I was up to date that the assessed value of your land is affected by the type of land you own. More specifically, the "utility" of your property is diminished if you have an Easement/Wetlands/Pond etc. on you property because you can not erect on the land, use the land for agriculture, etc. I was considering filing for property tax abatement (reduction) based upon this. Is anyone privy to with this concept?
Answer: yes

Yes I m being a bit dramatic but I doubt the assessor has ever been out to your consider and actually seen it. They have an old record and info on recent sales in the area. All they have all things considered
