Housing Woes Bring New Cry: Let Market Fall [Details Inside...]? |
Question by the casual fan rises | Posted in Gender & Women's Studies
The unexpectedly sincere plunge in home sales this summer is likely to force the Obama distribution to choose between future homeowners and current ones, a predicament officials had been itchy to avoid.
Over the last 18 months, the administration has rolled out just about every program it could conceive of of to prop up the ailing housing market, using tax credits, mortgage modification programs, low interest rates, control-backed loans and other assistance intended to keep values
| Answer: If this is guaranteed to meet with when prices drop, current homeowners need only hold out for the rebound before rational about selling. It's definitely worth looking into, but you'd need the PR campaign of a lifetime to get people to attest to it. |

Would You Enter The Housing Market As A First Time Home Buyer With The New Bill That Has Been Passed? |
Question by Matthew R | Posted in Renting & Real Estate
The covering bill is offering a $7500 tax credit for all new first time home buyers if they buy before july of '09. Do you make up I should jump on this, or wait until home prices drop more?
Answer: I am thoughtful about it, but I need more info. I have tried looking up at cnnmoney, msn money, yahoo banking for additional info, all with no luck. I make over 80,000 a year with my two jobs. Chiefly, there is an income limit. If there isnt a limit, or I qualify for the full amount, I am definitely thinking about it. I have a lease expiring in Sept. I am cogitative of renewing for only 6 months and starting to save up as much cash as possible and try and make a move in Slog or April.

we weren't fairly ready to buy a house when that tax credit expired but now are ready and looking. but wondering if we should be delayed a few months.. is it possible the tax credit will return because of the bad housing market?
| Answer: That program is unattractive to return, however, there have been first time buyers programs for years, the likelyhood is that some sort of program will pop up into existance within the next year. |

What Is President Obama Doing For The Housing Market? |
Question by amzing10s | Posted in Current Events
I'm currently in the market to get a new home as a first time home owner. I have a flexible time frame (1-4 months) and prime credit. I've heard the possibility of a tax stimulus to boost to the US housing market. If a tax credit is issued later in 2009, will I still be worthy for that tax credit if I had purchased a house before the announcement of the credit? Mortgage rates are close all time lows. Do you think they will continue to go down? Thanks
| Answer: It's very unbecoming that any tax credit will be made retroactive. You see 90 days retroactive invites a big argument for people flawed 91, then 92 days ad Infinitum. Interest rates are going to soar once the unpreventable hyperinflation sets in so buy now in this low interest environment if you are financing. Don't over extend because when the inflation comes, your revenues won't keep up. The realtor will have a lot of reasons for you buy the maximum house you can afford but that advice is last |
