When Using The Irs Tax Calculator What Does It Mean When?

What taxes is it referring to when it asks me "taxes paid"? do i only tender in the amount of federal taxes or do i enter state, social security and medicare too? Please resist!

Answer: Which calculator are you using? If it's with notification to your W2 you should enter the federal taxes withheld. Social security and medicare taxes cannot be refunded unless you had more than one owner and too much was taken out.

How Much Will My Stimulus Payment Be? All Tax Info Is Included. Need Help With IRS Calculator?

I don't get the online calculator because I didn't use any of the IRS forms, I filed online through HR Cube. My main question is the about the amount of child tax credit that it asks you to enter. Is that the initial adolescent tax credit or that plus the additional child tax credit combined? That makes a 600 dollar unlikeness in the amount the calculator tells me I am going to receive. Child tax credit is 383 and the additional daughter tax credit is 1617. I am not sure which one they are asking

Answer: Your cut-back will be $383 plus $300 for child.
The rebate payment is equal the amount of tax burden on the return (tax liability on the return Form 1040 line 46 or Appearance 1040A line 28) with a minimum amount of $300 and a maximum amount of $600 for individuals.

Can Someone Please Get Me Into The Stimulus Calculator On IRS Web Site?

I have been to this web call out and am unable to get to the stimulus calculator found the tax on however thats not the one that I need Thanks to everyone who answers my question

Answer: Here's the unobstructed link for the stimulus calculator on the IRS website:
http://www.irs.gov/app/espc/

If, for some reason, you have a problem accessing that, H&R Impede has an even simpler rebate calculator on their site as well:
http://www.hrblock.com/calcs/calculators 2008/simplerebatecalc2008/rake-off2008.jsp

All you need for either one is your 2007 tax info; you don't have to login or be an H&R client.

Hope this helps!
