I am rational about taking an income tax course through Jackson Hewitt or H&R block to become a tax prepare. How many course will I have to take and is it really possible to find employement or will I have to take lots of classes to find pursuit?
Answer: I have entranced both of their basic courses and found employment. You really only need their basic course to work for them. In some states you must have the course to employment anywhere involving tax preparation.

i spend inphoenix az, and i want to take an income tax course. i know H&R BLOCK and jackson hewitt have courses but i dont have the affluent for it. i heard i could take a class through the city of phoenix for free but dont know where to look.....
Answer: you can take the VITA course, I don't confidence in it costs anything
but you best keep in mind that as of the 2011 filing season you have to be registered with IRS, get a PTIN which will tariff $64.25 and you will be required to pass a competency test if you have not previously had a PTIN
the community colleges large have courses but they are probably almost done and you have missed this year's opportunity

So if one takes the Income Tax Course and passes the savoir faire, does that guarantee employment with HR Block? I am aware its only for Tax Season (until April 15th). But a job from now to April will be enough [im going to college full-time and graduating this year]. I just in need of to know if its almost a sure thing so I can put my 2 wks notice with my current employer . (The accerlated course starts last week in Nov).
