Import Tax??!!?

Hi everyone,
I am buying a bygone computer (Commodore 64) The guy i am buying it from is in Canada and i am in the United States. Will i have to pay import tax? if so where? i am located in New Jersey, Zip jus naturale 'natural law' 08244 the item is valued at $50 U.S.

Will they pay the tax when they send it or will i pay the tax when it comes to my door, also if i am out when the unite comes will they just send a bill for the import tax or will i have to pay the

Answer: If calling is assessed, you'll have to pay it before the package will be delivered. You'll get a card from the delivery company that you'll have to take to their local division; most of them are paying agents for Customs. UPS used to accept a personal check at the but of delivery, not sure if they still do though.

I've bought computer parts from a Canadian supplier a number of times and have never been assessed any fealty. Everything was under $200 and all were used. Not sure if

HOW MUCH TAX DO U PAY IF U IMPORT A CAR FROM USA TO UK

Answer: As a rule 10% duty and 17.5% VAT, but the process is much more complicated than just duty and might be short of modifying your car.

Do you be familiar with what kinds of import taxes and how much of them will be applied if kitchen appliances are imported to America?

Answer: There are at least two levels of tax, and sometimes a third: (1) harbour use taxes (which are very small), (2), two possible types of income tax, and (3) depending on the design of the business, a "branch profits tax."

First, there is a federal port use tax of 0.125% of the value of the items entering via a U.S. anchorage. There may be other local taxes, depending on the point of entry of the appliances.

How To Pay Customs Import Tax After Receiving The Items That Is Marked As "gift"?

I hankering to import something and resell it. But the exporter mark everything everything as "gift" so there is no import tax. I asked them not to do this but they still do it. How do I pay the import tax after I collect the package that is marked as "gifts"? Am I even suppose to pay import tax?

Answer: I am surprised this wasn't caught at customs already

I scarcity to buy a couple t-shirts from a site based in Sweden. They warn that buyers from US will be charged an import tax but I have no doctrine how much this could be.

Answer: If it's less tha $400 there will be no tax
That's just a standard notice in case the purchase qualifies for import duty
