How Do You Remove A Georgia State Tax Lien, When It Isn't Yours And You Have No Idea How It Got On Your Credit

There is a Ceremonial Tax lien from the state of georgia on my credit report, but i have never even been in Georgia, not to visit not to live not to work NOThING!! I have tried everything i can over of to get ahold of someone that can help. Any ideas would be helpful.

I be aware that on a tax lien you pay the tax and then you either receive the interest on it or in a few years the property. I've Paid Off A Tax Lien In Georgia But Its Still On My Credit Report?

The IRS is NO keep from. They keep passing me back and forth between departments and I cant get a straight answer from them at all! I've almost given up. It went to collections years ago and i payed them off through that adjacency. But when i called them...They didn't have my enter anymore. They said they would have just sent the payment into the State for me. But like I said...The IRS has there heads so far up there as* and are not plateful me at all. Who do I need to contact for some real help?
