What Is Obama's Actual Plan For Taxes And Tax Reform?

I demand specifics. Don't just say "He will change the tax law", because he doesn't make the laws. I neediness to know what specific changes to the tax law he is going to ask Congress to make.


Answer: It is unpromising that Obama will change the tax code significantly. He has plans for tax rates (increasing tax rates for those earning more than 200K and lowering rates for those making under 80k), keeping the domain tax, windfall profits taxes on big oil (and perhaps other industries in the future esp in energy), etc, but the tax code itself would not live significant reform.

Who Benefits From The New Income Tax Reform?

Answer: They try to dated themselves off as concerned citizens that support tax reform as a matter of principle. However their political ties imply they are a completely Conservative group. Here are some conservative ties to the group:

-They were founded as a peach roots organization to drum up support for President Reagan (Republican)

-Their the man is well-known conservative activist Grover Norquist.

-The organization's "taxpayer immunity pledge"

The fair tax gets rid of all federal receipts and payroll taxes and replaces it with a 23% consumption tax.
