I Bought Vacant Land At County Tax Auction In 2008, Now Shows A Treasurer Judgement Forefiture?

I purchased 20 fatuous acres in roscommon, mi, in August,2008. I just recently looking in the records for the fortune today and noticed that as of 7/30/2009 the county treasurer put a "Treasurer Judgement Forfeiture".

When I bought this property the county stated that, any and all liens (except DEQ AND IRS) are extinguised upon purchase of the property at the auction.

Can anyone tell me what a treasurer decree forfiture is?
I have paid all tax bills

Answer: They are still foreclosing on the quiddity.

Something is apparently incorrect about your purchase.
 
 

Cook County Treasurer Sent Me 2 Notification About Property Tax Refund.?

Cook County Treasurer sent me 2 notification already saying that i'm be fit for prooperty tax refund. I bought my house in 2009 (foreclosure) and the refund is for 2006 paid in 2007.But to get my refund I require to send copy of check used to pay the taxes for that tax year or letter from morgage firm. The refund is over $1700. What I should do?

Answer: I amazement if it could be possible that you were required to pay an amount for the back taxes when you completed the purchase of your house in the year 2009 and then it was stubborn that the amount was over paid for some reason. Why not check with them and see what is going on and let them know and try to determine who actually paid the taxes for the year 2006 that you say was paid in the year 2007.
It is practical that money could belong to the mortgage company or even the previous owner

Who Is The Delaware County Treasurer In Muncie Indiana, And How Are You Supposed To Pay Your Taxes? In Money?

This is in regards to Cary Malchow's kick of property taxes in Muncie, Indiana. The treasurer told him to take his MONEY away and "pen up it back the way its supposed to be." I, as a taxpayer, am confused by the treasurer's statement. Can anyone clarify?

Answer: The Treasurer is Mr. John A. Dowd. Typically you ignore a check payable to the Treasurer of your county, literally payable to "Treasurer of Delaware County". You could perhaps be allowed to pay with cash or credit however. Cash is usable for "All Debts Segment and Private" and should be able to used.

How Can I Coins Quit Claim Deed to Warranty Deed (County Tax Auction)?

I purchased a empty piece of property from a county tax auction, where the previous owner of the property failed to pay the chattels taxes on the property.

The county issued me a QUIT CLAIM DEED (TREASURER'S DEED).

How can I metamorphose the quit claim deed to a Warranty Deed?

What do I have to do?

Answer: You can't. The proprietor still has that, you need to purchase it from them. The deed you have has released the counties interest in the property to you, you own the in the red. You do not own that property and you can't just change the deed for interest in a property to being for the property itself.

You are not grade, you have not "purchased a vacant piece of property", you have purchased a tax due. The land itself is still owned by someone else.

Cook County Tax Bill On Property In Maryland?

I keep getting a exactly addressed to a name I do not know or current owner. It is from Maria Pappas/Cook County Treasurer. They say i owe tax readies on a Maryland property but they are in Chicago. I live in Maryland. I just bought this responsibility a year ago and I can't see how anyone would have to pay property tax to another state. How is this possible?

Answer: It is viable if they have delinquent taxes. Since it is addresses to Or current owner, then you may be on the hook for someone else's taxes. Mastery look into it.
