I recently inherited a blood. The value appraised by the county tax office was recently determined. It's about $100K lower than the market value based on an besides survey of comparable homes in the neighborhood done a few months ago. From what others have told me, the county's appraisal for tax purposes is commonly much less than the actual market value. Is this true?

I distinguish people say go check the County Tax assessors office. But I don't know which counties he lived in or owns properties. All I be informed is the name of the person. How do I find what properties he owns?

Why do checks written to pay taxes have to be to the authentic individual who's the Tax Assessor and not just to the Tax Office of the State, County, or City?
For years I've sent my check and I get my mechanism registration no problema. So it's def legitimate; it just seems very odd.
Answer: checks without corroboration will not be credited to the dept you intend it to be paid so you need to designate your check for paraphernalia taxes to the property tax collector
in most states the assessor and the collector are not the same person or dept.
