Car Tax Budget 2008?

i have scarcely noticed that my car tax for my car has suddenly jumped up from £300 a year to £400 a year after the budget. how the bloody Abaddon can the goverment justify this???
what are your views.
i think we should start a boycott and refuse to pay it

Answer: This gov. has spent it's way, everything they do is just to take in money to give away to immigrants, mps etc. It is time that the white population turned out in current and had their say. All I ever see is ethnic group rights being promoted. This gov. has downgraded the TRUE Englishman with their policies. All the charities are way of order. All my life, 69 years, I have seen appeals to put water in places, how much small change has gone abroad????

Higher Car Tax ; Budget 2008?

How on mould are people supposed to buy new cars on the crap wages we get in this country. They say that newer cars with let gas immission will be taxed less. I can't afford to save anything and my new cars have all been used. We have all on with paying 107.9 per litre petrol for the give a hoot thing, never mind saving up for something newer.

Answer: Have to brush aside at that guy above me ... Some people NEED to drive you know, there is no choice. Some people travail you know.

As for the new level of Tax ... the higher level of taxes only apply to cars registered after 23rd Parade 2006, otherwise normal charges apply ... ie. £185 per year for over 1549cc.

Must allow to enter though, in time this will hit everyone and I do completely agree that it seems odd that those that can afford new clean "green"

New Car Or Used Luxury Cars With My Budget?

I am demanding to decide if I should go with buying a new car or a used luxury. If I decide on a new car, this will be my first new car ever.

I've been saving money money now and my budget is set at 25k. I went to a toyota dealer and got a deal for new 2008 toyota camry LE for $23,300 which includes all fees (end, tax, dmv, etc) I double confirmed that this is the final walk out price, and he literally said "not a dime more.".
